Sean is one of the original members of the Galway Woodturners Chapter. Throughout the evening, Sean made two projects. A large platter/serving dish and a hollow form.
The platter was made from spalted beech.
Next was the hollow form, also a piece of spalted beech, The piece held by a tenon on both ends retained a really interesting square feature at the centre of the sphere.
Sean showed us an open variation of the vessel that he had made earlier.
Many thanks to Sean for a wonderful evening.
